We invite you to join us for a NEW FOZA PODCAST on Maternal Mental Wellness - Episode 22 -  The focus is on: How the Lack of Childcare Funding Can Contribute to Depression.
Did you know that 13 million + families across the nation are in danger of losing chiidcare support? Do you know how that can affect a family?
Do you know how depression relates to the lack of adequate childcare?

Congress is now focusing on annual funding. Lawmakers have a lot of tough decisions to make about funding, and we have a big fight ahead so please don’t wait…be a part of the solution.
Email your member of Congress and urge them to support continued investments for childcare.

Then come on back and join the podcast

Episode – 7 - FOZA Maternal Mental Wellness Podcast - The 4R’s of Suicide Intervention

This podcast is directed to family members, caregivers and supporters of postpartum moms as well as advocates for the prevention of suicide. The information will prove beneficial to anyone who would like more knowledge about helping someone who may be thinking of suicide.

Our guest today is highly skilled at helping to bring that knowledge, light, and hope to the community and the nation. Her name is Kimberly Franco, she’s a retired Military Police Captain with over 23-years of service, who tragically lost her brother to suicide. This life changing event led Kimberly to pursue full time work in suicide awareness, intervention, and prevention ….from there her nonprofit organization One Common Bond was born.

As a certified instructor, Kimberly developed the 4R Gate Keeper Training Course and since 2013 she’s worked as a Suicide Prevention Program Manager for the US  Army Reserve.

She is a Master Trainer in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), and her course has been adopted by the United States Army Reserve as mandatory training.

Along with information about her life-saving course, Kimberly will tell us about her nonprofit organization, One Common Bond.
An organization dedicated to providing grief packages and support to families in need of comfort.
