​About Nina Clara Designs: This African American Female-Owned Company is inspired by Clara, the beloved grandmother of Cheryl Smith. Cheryl learned how to make quilts, sew, and craft from the loving traditions passed down-from mother to daughter. For Cheryl, creative endeavors have been healing experiences during times when she has faced stress and anxiety. She is now extending that healing to others through designing journals that can be used for stress relief and reflection.
