#foza4ppdawareness - Episode 19 - Why Moms Don't Speak up when they Feel Down.
Listen on Apple Podcast || Google || YouTube || Spotify ||
We get a lot of questions and comments about WHY Moms don't speak up, when they are feeling down. "Speak up, when you feel down" is an international shout out from PSI (Postpartum Support International) and many other groups and individuals advocating for awareness of postpartum depression and maternal mental wellness and yet many moms simply suffer in silence. And so we went on a deep dive to bring you answers to just a few of the primary reasons why many moms do not speak up as well as they should.
This is only the tip of the iceberg because the “whys” can be as numerous as the individuals being affected. Still FOZA hopes you will tune into the this podcast and find something beneficial to help stop the silence, the shame, the suicides and the suffering, that can accompany postpartum depression.
