Mama and Baby Mobile Health Unit

The Mama Baby mobile health unit is provided through a partnership with the March of Dimes and UM Capital and is specifically designed to help uninsured and under-insured women throughout Prince George's County receive quality health care. We see women of childbearing age and pregnant women.The unit is equipped with 2 private exam rooms and is staffed by an experienced team of certified nurse midwives. The Mama and Baby Mobile Health Unit travels throughout the county to deliver a range of health services for women and babies:

• Well-woman exams and education
• Pregnancy testing
• Pregnancy care education
• Birth control consultation
• Infant care and well child visits
• Maternal and child health education
• Care coordination and social support services
• Now providing services to Ward 7 and Ward 8 patients in Washington, D.C.

All services are provided free of charge.
