National Maternal Health Hotline ​ - 1-833-9-HELP4MOMS

The hotline is accessible by phone or text at 1-833-9-HELP4MOMS (1-833-943-5746) in English and Spanish. TTY Users can use a preferred relay service or dial 711 and then 1-833-943-5746.  The Maternal Mental Health Hotline is not intended as an emergency response line and individuals in behavioral health crisis should continue to contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

Offers a series of podcasts hosted by Davon Crawford, a certified full-spectrum doula specializing in holistic services for pregnant and postpartum moms. ​

​Hand to Hold understands that a high-risk pregnancy, a complicated birth, a NICU stay or the loss of a baby are very traumatic and isolating experiences. Find support at any stage of your journey through our virtual support groups, podcasts, private Facebook communities and Peer Mentor Program.

Cherished Mom -  Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders affect up to 20% of women during pregnancy or after birth, making it the number one complication of childbirth.  At Cherished Mom, we believe there’s much room for improvement to educating moms and families of this possibility and risk

​The Motherhood Center - Webinar resources for all new and expecting mothers - and partners too! From childbirth , to breastfeeding support, to managing your child’s behavior- there are many options to meet you where you are at on your perinatal journey.

​Healthy New Moms works to raise awareness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMAD) and offers support and resources to moms, families, and providers across the state of Maryland.

​Twin Raven Hypnotherapy and Research Center LLC - If you are working closely with your primary physician and still you are experiencing unwanted symptoms of postpartum depression, etc., consider hypnotherapy.  This is a real resource that provides real relief.
​Suicide Safety Plan App - Dealing with suicidal thoughts or supporting a friend? Reach out to primary medical  care providers...if that's not working, call the crisis hotline and in the interim, downlaod this app. It is simple, but similar to journaling it can help you take control into the plam of your hand. United Survivors - hosts free monthly webinars with a variety of experts in the field of lived experience and suicide prevention. 

The Recovery Village  -  When a family loses a loved-one due to postpartum depression suicide, it can lead others to suicidal thoughts and psychological crises that are usually treatable,   like depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders and eating disorders. The Recovery Village specializes in suicide prevention and recovery. This organization  offers excellent information, resources and guides to assist those who may be in need.  The services are not free, but the site has an easy to use online system to let you know if you qualify. 

Suicide Prevention Lifeline -We can all help prevent suicide. The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.

Maryland 211 Health Check Starts  - Weekly Mental Health Check-Ins With A Person Who Cares. 

​American Association of Suicidology - AAS includes mental health and public health professionals, researchers, suicide prevention and crisis intervention centers, school districts, crisis center volunteers, survivors of suicide loss, attempt survivors, and a variety of lay persons who have in interest in suicide prevention.

​Suicide Support Groups - A directory to search for support groups for both attempt and loss survivors of suicide.
