FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERSWhat is the vision of FOZA?
Our vision is three-fold:
1. To support the children who are left behind due to suicide 2. To support the mothers who are experiencing postpartum depression. 3. To build a network of resources for postpartum depression awareness. HOW WILL THE FUNDS FROM THIS AUCTION BE USED?
FOZA Inc. will use funds from the auction to meet its goal of increasing awareness of postpartum depression:
1. Proceeds will finance future events, such as panel discussions, webinars and podcasts. 2. Proceeds will be used to produce FOZA Bears and Bunnies for the "Gift a FOZA-Lift a Spirit" initiative. FOZA is sent through-out the USA to support families and individuals coping with PPD depression. 3. Proceeds will go to build scholarship funds for children left behind from parental PPD suicide. HOW WILL WINNERS BE DETERMINED?
The highest qualifying bid (i.e. bid that complies with the established silent Auction rules) wins the item.
If an Item requires shipping, who pays for shipping?
Donors will pay for shipping. We recommend that you consider any shipping costs BEFORE placing your item up for bid. Winners will not be charged shipping.
Should my donation be transferable?
That is an internal business operations decision. However, we understand that you are participating to give back to your community and also because you hope to connect with your ideal audience. If it matters that the person who ends up with your donation is NOT your target audience, the recommendation is to make your donation non-transferable.
What if my donation is for only one person?
If your donation is intended for a single person, please make clear and prominent instructions in the donation description.
Will this be a “local” Auction?
The Auction will only be available in the USA. If you are only interested in doing business locally … Add that information to your Auction Description or please let us know [email protected].
Can I Upsell to the bidder/winner?
Assuming "upsell" means tell the winner about additional goodies you have to offer … you can “upsell” after the bidding is complete. This is a charitable venture, and we expect business owners to be professional. Donations are the first line of order.
How will my business/organization be represented in this Auction?
FOZA will only use the information you provide to represent your business/organization.
Will my contact information be sold to other entities?
FOZA does not sell, trade or give away private contact information (that is not already publicly listed).
How will FOZA promote this Auction?
FOZA Inc. will promote this auction through press releases, social media, digital advertisements, and word of mouth. We ask that each donor share the information that will be provided in marketing materials to enhance their own opportunities for awareness.
Donors will be given access to promotional banners and are asked to post within their own circles of influence. I know other business owners who may want to donate …how can they register?
I’d love to participate, but the timing is not right. Will there be other FOZA Auctions?

CAN ADDITIONAL BIDS BE PLACED AFTER THE ANNOUNCED CLOSED DATE AND TIME?
No additional bids may be placed once the Auction is declared closed. However, each item in the Auction will have a “Buy Now” option so no one will lose out!
WHAT TYPE OF DONATIONS ARE CONSIDERED APPROPRIATE FOR THIS AUCTION?

Can I collect sales tax on my donatonation?
We do not have a way to collect sales tax. This is a donation. Please check with your Tax Professional.

FOZA Inc., (Friends of Zayne Adams), is a nonprofit organization working to provide supportive, resources to families affected by Postpartum Depression, Depression, Suicide and Related Illnesses. We are especially focused on connecting resources with the children left behind when a parent is loss to a mental health related suicide.
