Hi there FOZA Fans. This is Episode 36… We couldn’t have come this far without you. We are so grateful for your support and validation, especially when we can see our supporters growing...I mean have you hear the news?? The YouTube FOZA Podcast channel for maternal, mental wellness has surpassed 1,000 subscribers.... So please keep sharing the awareness and keep inviting new people to subscribe. You are more than FOZA Fans, you are Fantastic.
This episode is dedicated to National Maternal Suicide Awareness Week Sept 9 thru 13, and for entire month of September and Suicide Awareness and Prevention.

I invite you to add to what you hear, discuss what you hear and share what you believe is beneficial. Awareness is one of our core missions, and we know there are many aspects involved, so even if you know every point that's being made in the podcast, please keep sharing. Perhaps you will touch someone who may not be as well informed as you are.
Highlights:
Why she may not ask for or accept help
  • She may feel as if she is burdening others
  • She may want to prove her independence
  • She may feel embarrassed or ashamed
  • She may have had past negative experiences
  • She may even be unsure of exactly what help she needs or where to look and she wants to avoid appearing to be ignorant about a topic we’ve been programmed to believe is “natural”
  • She may feel she should know instinctively how to care for her baby and she feels “less-than” which can exacerbate her feelings of being overwhelmed.
  • ACTIONS you can take to help build her trust
